Is it just me, or is anybody else so anal they wash the trailer before leaving?
Looks like lots of posts telling your inquiring mind.....
Anal birds, flock (wash) together!
Although it appears some are members of the Flocker Family,
and just say "flock it"..;)

If you have a RO water system you can fill a garden sprayer for final rinse with the RO water and it will not leave spots. Saves a lot of drying.
With just the water softener mine leaves water spots.
A man after my own heart! I'm very thorough as well, I find it relaxing and enjoyable cleaning my rig, the highlight of ownership.
Must be why ours is spot free after each wash, our hose for washing cars hooks strait to the water softener. - smacdieselExplorer

Still, it gets done. I'm happier when I finish than when I started, knowing it looks good and that I'm protecting my investment. Camper gets washed when we get back to be rid of the bugs and the truck gets washed before a trip, possibly giving the camper a lick and a promise. I hate starting a trip with dull wheels and a dirty windshield. Plus, I like thinking there's an illusion that I care.
- dockmasterdaveExplorerThe term anal retentive, commonly abbreviated to anal, is used to describe a person who pays such attention to detail that the obsession becomes an annoyance to others, potentially to the detriment of the anal-retentive person. The term derives from Freudian psychoanalysis.
Besides, I'm sure some people got a chuckle out of it. Harmless. - JiminDenverExplorer IIThe trailer never comes home before a trip but we do clean inside and out after one. It's nice to have it ready to go.
- Grit_dogTrailblazerOCD..... Maybe a better word than "anal" for a thread title!
- LantleyNomadI wax entire rig. Once a year. Clean interior every trip.
Wash exterior 3 or 4 times a season, certainly not every trip.
Remove bugs from front cap as required. - PAThwackerExplorerSummer thunder storms in the afternoon always seem to happen when towing.
- dockmasterdaveExplorerThanks for all the great replies.
I washed the truck and trailer before leaving( trailer isn't stored under roof yet, and 2014 black truck).
Of course it rained on the way to our destination, so the black truck was filthy for four days.
My dad taught me" the job isn't done, till you have cleaned your tools and put them where they belong.
Everything is now clean and where it belongs.
Again, thanks for all the responses.
Happy camping. Trying to figure out our next trip.
Living in South FL, we are getting into the season where I don't need A/C on every trip.
Saw 41 degrees (and long pants) for the first time since February.
