A health care professional told me after I described the symptoms I had back in December/January, that I most likely did have the virus. That it has been in the US for probably six months or more. Figuring that, the number of infected is most likely in the hundreds of thousands, if not millions.
I know about 6 people, personally, who had the symptoms, tested negative for the flu, and pneumonia, but had upper respiratory infections entirely new to them. Sick, fever, severe fatigue, for a couple of weeks and have since recovered fully. This was back in November/December.
