Understand nothing monetary compares to a life. Trying to equate bank accounts to lives is the epitome of selflessness and foolish.
Dear Mother Teresa,
After you're through giving yourself the Nobel Peace Prize I would suggest you consider this. You and I and everybody else do exactly that every day. We make decisions to engage in dangerous activities that can kill people because they give some benefit to us in other ways. Like driving a car. If you really believe the old "If is saves just one life" argument then you have to outlaw automobiles. There, you just saved over 30,000 lives per year. Now go accept your Nobel Peace Prize. The self-righteousness of some people knows no bounds.
What ever happened to when the going gets tough the tough get going?
The frailty and weakness of some astonishes me. Things get a little tough. We get squeezed a bit and people just fall apart. The idea of the common good or that something could be more important than myself is lost on most people. All they can think about is themselves...Those others are gonna die anyway, why mess up my bank account?
All this mess is stopping ME from living happily ever after.
Fortunately some of us realize its not all about me and my money.
If a little suffering keeps a few more people alive so be it.
There are much worse tragedies than high unemployment and the stock market crash. Guess what they can take your money but they can't eat you!
Be glad you have your health! Be glad your alive!Nothing else really matters. Including , RV'S, money, Jobs etc.
Your health and your families health are top priority. Everything else is just stuff that is ultimately disposable.
