Andersen-3604 Camper Leveler
Anyone here have the Andersen-3604 Camper Leveler, I am thinking seriously about getting 2 sets for our 5er. They seem like they would make things a little easier and faster.Andersen Camper Levelers

- I received my Andersen #3406 levelers about 2 weeks ago and have been using them for the past 5 days on our trip and I love them. Makes leveling so much faster & easier. I had to cut about 3" off on to fit between axles but that was easy. I would buy them again. In fact my buddy traveling with us is planning to order a pair when we get back home.
- I should also add that my parents use them too and love them!
For us, I have a big level ball on my pin-box. I just watch it as I pull the camper up onto the levelers and the wifey puts the chocks in when I tell her. For takedown, though, I don't drive off of them like they show in their video. I pull up enough to relieve the pressure on the chocks, remove them, then back off. - I love mine.. As others have mentioned, I had to cut a few inches off one to fit between the wheels.

My rig's axle spread is just too narrow to allow use of Andersen Levelers, even if I were to trim them as Andersen suggests, but if I could use them I for sure would carry a set of rubber stair tread on which the levelers could sit. These would not only prevent any chance of cracking because of an uneven ground surface but also absolutely prevent the leveler from slipping, which it can do if sitting on wood or any other hard surface such as tarmac or concrete.- I have a set, they're great on certain surfaces. They will settle down in wet grass and soft ground depending on the weight of your RV.
I had one crack in half but it got replaced for free under warranty. I used them in a site with crushed rock. The rocks did not allow the RV load to concentrate across the face evenly. Therefore created high load points and caused them to crack. I now use them only on grass, sand, and concrete pads. I avoid use on rock pads. I think if one puts down a wood pad first then the leveler on it that would prevent the leveler from cracking. When you tried them, what made them sink? Soft ground, wet grass? Curious.
Any idea on the circumstances of the broken ones? Got those pics to share?
This info came from posts on here. I did see the pic.
The person said they are not as wide as their tires so that along with the extra weight being placed on the tire being lifted caused the devise to sink into the soft ground.
