My rig's axle spread is just too narrow to allow use of Andersen Levelers, even if I were to trim them as Andersen suggests, but if I
could use them I for sure would carry a set of
rubber stair tread on which the levelers could sit. These would not only prevent any chance of cracking because of an uneven ground surface but also absolutely prevent the leveler from slipping, which it
can do if sitting on wood or any other hard surface such as tarmac or concrete.
