I've weighed the tongue when loaded up, and it was 360 lbs.
I agree, some WD will be better than none. I've focused my attention on the Andersen because of their claim that the urethane bushings absorb shock as they 'give', attenuating motions more than others. And I can see how experimenting with the bolt adjustment to change the loading could give me flexibility to find that best point for ride comfort.
I hope a few more Andersen owners will chime in with their input on ride quality with that hitch. So far I like what I hear.
