Quite often underneath the leaves stays wet and then freezes, unnoticeable to the human eye while driving. Take it easy while driving-it may save your life!

If it gets below 50 degrees F (at night) this "winter" - I will certainly be on guard!
BTW - I regularly check to see if the sky is about to fall - but that's dangerous to do when driving - so take it easy on that too.
