We have a memory foam mattress in the TT and in the house. Never really felt it was any hotter than any of the inner spring mattress' I slept on most of my life.
The wife likes them also and so does my daughter.
If you are in an area that is hot and are concerned, they offer ventilated memory foam, and also memory foam that is gel infused and supposed to be cool to sleep on.
