Yes, I too prefer 'total' silence except for Mother Nature, but I can just see their grandparents telling them at 10:45 to listen to the beautiful silence and maybe implanting the same likes that you and I have.

Well that was it, I could not fault it, somehow I thought that quiet time started at 10:00 not 11:00. I know if I was a parent I would have quieted the children down a bit after dark but then again it was not my children/GC.
Glad I did not complain though.
Yea,, annoying,, but nothing you can do except try to look at the bright side. (these kids are having a rich childhood and will likely grow up to be well adjusted adults that make the world a better place)
