- Jim_ShoeExplorerWhen I'm traveling in the RV, my entire ensemble consists one load of whites and one load of jeans and colored pocket T-shirts. I don't go anyplace where I have to be more dressed up than that. And both loads fit in one dryer.
I don't remember being in a laundry room that didn't post the washer and dryer times on a sign. If all washers have clothes in them but the cycle is finished on some of them, I don't have a problem with emptying one or two into a rolling cart and start my load(s). Same with the dryers.
If somebody is inconsiderate enough to leave their stuff in the machines after they're done, I'm considerate enough to help them out. :) - ReadyToGoExplorerIdiotic story and conclusion.
Lets see what this would mean. Don't drive because there is road rage. Don't answer your door because who knows what is out there. Don't walk outside because someone was hit. etc. etc. - WTTCSExplorerI heard it myself.......His mother told him many times that being a tow truck driver would drive him to this.

I had someone get mad at me at the supermarket because I left my cart in the isle. I'm never going to buy any food again. - tenbearExplorerSeems like a reason to go with your DW to the laundry when she does the laundry.
- joe_b_Explorer IINot anywhere totally safe anymore, even your home. An acquaintance was shot and killed while eating dinner in a Denny's in Houston last week. Just picked the wrong time to be there eating dinner, as it was being robbed.
Campgrounds are some of the safest places there are, IMHO. Mostly families, older folks much of the time, not in poverty (at least not till they bought their RV) Suspect we have all met others that the thought of doing something like that has occurred to us. A few years back, I was in a campground laundry when a middle aged woman came in and announced to everyone that she was with the caravan that had just arrived and they had priority use of the laundry facility and asked everyone to take their stuff out of the washers and dryers till she was finished. She seemed surprised to hear the language that was directed toward her by the others in the laundry. That could have been mob violence very easily. LOL - IDmanExplorerJust consider the source of the story!
- sowegoExplorerAnd here we go campground bashing? I agree with others--scary situations can and do happen everywhere. If we all stayed away from campgrounds they'd go out of business and then what?!
- Homer1ExplorerI have been pretty agggravated at people that leave their laundry in the dryer while they go back to the RV to watch a soap opera. But it is easier to just take the clothes out of the dryer, as long as they are done and go ahead and use it. Sure I have seen some irrate campers over this, but then they aren't violent just stupid. You will see the same thing any where, not just a campground. You just can't fix stupid no matter where you find it.
