- mowermechExplorerSeems to me it is more a good reason to stay away from laundromats, and to have an RV with a washer/dryer in it!

NOOO not in the driveway!!! There's another thread out there where someone had everything stolen out of his tow vehicle!!!!!! Yes.....this is a bogus idea. Campgrounds are NOT to blame here. In fact, the police aren't even sure if the guy did it!!!!!!
C;mon man. Like this only happens in campgrounds? If this scares anyone, they should look for a new hobby. Or at least spend their vacations, in their driveway, inside the locked up RV, curled up in the fetal position. - PogoilExplorer

Getting more dangerous each day. http://www.nbcnews.com/id/52908951
You must be kidding right.
If not just stirring the pot. Folks that make these kind of statements also blame the parks because it rained, cell phones had no signal, the wind blew all day, airplane flew over, someone blew their air horn, kids were playing ball in their site, a dog walked by and on and on and on.
Pogoil. - Cloud_DancerExplorer IIMost accidents occur in the house,....but I stayed home all the same,....except for going to the movies (at the Palladium), then to PF Chang's for dinner. We actually felt pretty safe at these three places. After the Labor Day holiday is when we start RVing again. BTW we use our own washer/dryer,....for the convenience.
IMO the most dangerous part of RVing is driving on the same roads that are used by people who do NOT know how to drive properly. - paulm999ExplorerRather than campgrounds in general, this says most about Jellystone Campgrounds based on the 2 bad experiences in so many stays years ago.
- gboppExplorerWe now have reasons to stay away from Campgrounds, Restaurants and Supermarkets.
Anything else? :) - Dog_FolksExplorer

I don't recall having a clothes dryer in any campground that I've been to.
You need to get out more. They are very common here on the eastern side. - powderman426Explorer

Just consider the source of the story!
It doesn't appear to be Faux news? - AprilWhineExplorerSounds like a campground that has evolved into a trailer park. ;)
