Stay home with a bowl of ice-cream, topped with peaches - read, listen and watch.... "The News".
Report in here with "Breaking News" from time to time.
Your efforts are genuinely appreciated!
Opens up more campground spots for others..:C
~ - goducks10ExplorerThat's exactly the reason I look for CG's without washers and dryers. I knew it would happen eventually. It was just a matter of time.
- Francesca_KnowlExplorer"Another good reason to stay away from campgrounds"??? Seems to me the lesson here is really to stay away from washing machines.
Buy new clothes when the ones you have on get dirty, folks! :B - Old-BiscuitExplorer IIIWell it's quite obvious........campgrounds fault for only having a one dryer

If this story is true, they don't know what happened for sure, but if it is then we shouldn't be scared of campgrounds. This type of anger, if true, could happen anywhere. I hope that this was not a case of dryer rage
somebody trying to justify blacktop boondocking at wally world?
bumpy - Very few details in the story. They have no statement from the "victim". I guess it is not possible she tripped or slipped and hit her head. Unless there is more to the story such as some sort of witness or the guy said he did it. Or if she hit her head several times, that is hard to do without some help. This could all be a misunderstanding on a slow news day. I doubt we will ever know as these space filler kind of stories usually do not get a follow-up.
- VulcaneerExplorerSo did bashing a head against the dryer, finally get it to work correctly?
- Jayco-noslideExplorerViolence, while not rare, is unpredictable and random and is just as likely to occur about anywhere. I suspect violence is less likely in a campground that lots of other locations.

"And the number one Reason to stay away from campgrounds is: getting your head bashed against the sole clothes dryer at the Jellystone Campground"
what's next my driveway? - westernrvparkowExplorerIf you read the story, the suspect's family said he was a nice guy, and couldn't have done it. Well, that is good enough for me. Therefore the only explanation is the lady attempted "suicide by Maytag". No need for police investigations, trials or anything else. I mean, who doesn't know someone who tried to kill themselves by bashing their heads into a clothes dryer.
Now if by some odd coincidence, the family is mistaken, and the guy actually did it, we really need to connect the dots to find the real culprit. Campground plus tow truck driver can only lead to one place, Good Sam ERS. Good Sam ERS leads to only two possible perpetrators, either Marcus Lemonis, CEO of Good Sam Enterprises, or Good Sam, himself. Since Mr. Lemonis is a noted workaholic and probably can produce a valid alibi for the time in question there is only one course of action, arrest Good Sam. Throw that fat, sweater wearing, hair dyeing convict under the jail and free us all from his visage. NOTE to CSI producers, you are welcome to use this scenario in an upcoming episode, just send me my rightful residuals.
