The odds of a wanted felon being much closer than you think are very high.
Th8s man was wanted on warrants.. I am guessing they are felony warrants since he shot it out with the cops. And yes, you can find people like that in campgrounds as well as Wal*marts.. I worry more about the husband/wife or boy/girl-friend couple who are getting drunk and having nightly knock down drag outs.
I am in a campground with 24 sites,,one site is occupied by a vacant RV (We are trying to move it but need a new battery or 3 Got the slides in yesterday (Working with CG owner on that job) I think we have 3 open sites just now and ONE of our long terms... The boy/girl firend knock downers described above.
Now as to the news article....Very poorly written.. I mean suddenly, in the middle of the article they start yammering about a bus.. No mention of it before. And other issues too,, Looks like it was written by about a 3rd grader.. I would think the station reporting could afford better staff.
