Yep we follow the yellow line, regardless of where the little arrow is on the rotating wheel is pointing, the antenna travels less than a full revolution, so rotate the antenna until the image is as clear as can be, go outside look at the wings then imitate the wings with your arms and look at a compass, the transmitter is going to be in the direction that you are facing or 180 degrees, exactly opposite of where you are looking, the wings are going to be 90 degrees from the wings this method is used for navigation for aircraft and ocean going vessels, it is slowly being forgotten.
The most important thing to remember is to rotate the antenna to the stowing point and lower the darn thing, how many mangled antennas have you seen?
