We had a most enjoyable Forth of July weekend. We spend Thursday through Sunday at some friends of ours at their house on the Cow Pasture River in the Allegheny mountains of Virginia. The Cow Pasture is one of the two head waters of the James River in Virginia.
Included were a 34ft Airstream, two 5th wheels, my 24 Koala, plus a class C. Between them and the house space, we had a crowd of about 30+ people.
We divided up the three supper meals, Thursday thru Saturday, plus brunch, Friday thru Sunday. Each family/group only needed to deal with one meal.
And the weather was to die for here in Virginia. Normally July is hot and muggy, a little less so in the mountains. However, night temperatures were in the 40's and 50's. Day temperatures were probably just in the 70's.
Of course, all of our group are well known to each other. This game group RV tailgates together during fall college football season.
