Any good fuel companies for a good fuel card for travel?

Chevron says I'm 'time honored member' since 1977, but traveling out of state and using the card only once they shut the card down. Then trying to call them to find out why the embarassment at the pum...

Pilot/FJ is .08 discount with the credit card and no set amount on the pump.

I carry it too, but it never fails I need gas when one is not available, so I have a regular cc(Kroger)which gives discounts and rewards.
