I have a 2012 f250 Psd fx4 and I use 1500lb bars. I don't know what size of receiver you have but blue ox will sway out the 2" shank that comes with the hitch for a 2 1/2 shank. It makes a tremendous difference by doing away with the slop of a 2" with a sleeve. That's of course if your receiver is a 2 1/2 inch receiver.
