Last fall I upgraded from a 7,500# loaded TT and Equal-i-zer 1,200# bars to my current TT, which is close to 10,000# loaded. I needed to upgrade bars, which for the Equal-i-zer, means upgrading the entire hitch. So I decided to go a different route and try the Blue Ox with 1,500# bars. It is definitely very simple to hook up. But what I did notice is that it feels much more loose when towing than does the Equal-i-zer. So when a semi passes, or when there is a side wind, I feel it much more prevalent than with the EQ. I'm only guessing it is because the anti-sway is using chains rather than metal-to-metal friction.
