That all makes sense, so this particular hitch reduces sway in the same way as most other WD hitches difference being the restricted chain movement can make the sway reduction action much more effective depending on how much free chain. Seems the less you have on this hitch the better the sway reduction effect.
I believe that the closer you can get to matching your TW with the load bar ratings the better off you'll be with this hitch.
