Something that doesn't get mentioned too often with the BlueOx is that the hitch head has a fixed tilt built into it. This fixed hitch head angle is set at nearly the same angle as a standard WD hitch with all the adjustment washers added or the hitch head tilt set to max.

I have a feeling that Jeremiah is on to something here with the new design BO. I have the old design which has adjustable tilt. In my initial set up, after trying various tilts, I ended up with it tilted all the way back. The hitch works as advertised.
When I first bought my trailer, I was not yet decided on which brand WD hitch to buy. I towed my trailer home "on the ball", 630 miles on a day with some rather heavy cross winds on I-70 across Illinois and Missouri. I experienced "some sway" and it certainly was not an ideal set up regarding towing stability. In the following weeks I decided on the blue ox. I've since towed close to 30K miles with this hitch in all weather conditions from sea level to the highest passes of Colorado. The hitch works.....the towing experience is excellent.
I went with 550 pound bars. In reality my tongue ended up being right at 600, so I suppose I "should" have gone with 750 bars. However, I am able to achieve 100% FALR according to the CAT scale, and the tow is correct, so I am staying with the 550 bars.
that's my experience with it.
