My trailer only came with one 12 volt battery. Since the original battery was new I purchased three more the same size and ah. I would not mix old batteries with new batteries.
Check your owners manual and find out if your converter is a 3 stage or single stage charger. If it's a 3 stage you will be fine. Mine came with a 3 stage.
I don't let my batteries get below 12.2 volts. Check out the graphic supplied by Roy.
When Boondocking the furnace will use most of your battery power. If your rig did not come with a battery monitor that actually tells you the charge state of your batteries ie 12.2 12.4 12.6 etc... you should get one. You may want to consider LED lights. They use a lot less power.
