Anybody ever use a Stinger?
I have a project that I think one of these would work great. Just wanted to know if anybody ever used one or seen one in use. In 40 years I haven't seen one on the road so they must not have sold many...

It's made by Stinger. But they are out of business according to one of the web sites I went to. :E Maybe there is a reason for that. :B
As far as the pivot. Great minds think alike. :) I was thinking the same thing. I would make it out of round stock and put limit stops on it so it would not hit the frame. But maybe it is so close to the rear tire that it won't load the tire that much? Much like a tandem axel trailer. I just don't know?
