- Me_AgainExplorer IIIOur plan was to leave Az on April 19th and head to Texas to see Big Bend National Monument, San Antonio, Galveston, Waco, Dallas and then head North. Probably we are going to abandon this trip and stay in Arizona until early May and decide if we stay the summer or go to our park North of Seattle for 3 or 4 months. We have options. Our park here in Az is shutting down activities, bars and restaurants starting Monday. Chris

This is a virus where 70-150,000,000 US citizens could be infected according to modeling. No one has immunity to this virus, it is very contagious, and we have no vaccine.
Things change quickly with this, so peeps should stay informed instead of accepting overly optimistic internet advice. - dturmModerator

I figure I'm going to get it. I just don't want to get it before I am home. I don't want to be dependent on the kindness of strangers. And I want to be able to take care of my family when they get it.
Why do you think you are going to get it? there are over 334 million people in the US. What makes you so sure that you will be part of the .0001 percent that will get it????
And over 80% of the ones that do get it recover with out any medical treatment. Man don't panic. Stop watching CNN. live your life. You are in no more danger than you were in December
Terry's figures are wrong. This is not a situation where .0001 percent will get it (BTW where did this figure come from???)

The only way we can modify the effects this will have is to mitigate spread. The more people with this attitude that don't take the precautions, the more likely the worst case will happen.
Dr. Doug - With venues closing we have cancelled a trip that was by air.
Probably take the RV out local instead. - garyp4951Explorer IIIThanks
