Laws vary from place to place but generally if you are Establishing residency in FL. then the day after you arrive head to DMV and do the DL and Vehicles. How long to get new DL I don't know but you'll have a temp document going out the door.

Most states have a "More than xxx days" law. and then you MUST change.
