Heading south along Oregon Coast to Death Valley, eastern Oregon/northern California, Black Rock Desert and some rockhounding locations in Nevada, maybe Mojave Desert Preserve, Tronos area and places in between. No real itinerary as our route depends on weather and back road conditions. Armed with atlases, GPS, iPhone, iPad mini, hand crank weather radio, common sense and photo gear. We are leaving around April 1.
