I could probably add a little more info. I am 60, I do work with the general public, so believe me I understand that part. ( 95% of our folks are great though)
But we are self employed, we are down to 3 1/2 days a week. Plus about 6 weeks off to travel etc.
I walk and bike ride a lot, I am not a fan of house projects, or wood working or any of that sort of thing. I would much rather work and pay others to do that stuff.
I already get bored at times, with that light schedule, which is why I say. I think retirement for me and the DW would be a poor choice on our part.
