Serious? OK, here goes:
I would have insisted that Newmar remove the soft/uncured self-leveling goop that they used for sealing the flat lap-joint on the roof of my new motorhome, which I picked up at the factory. My contract stated that it was subject to my approval at the factory. There were other issues with it, which took them a week to correct. We stayed so busy with those problems that I never went up on the roof (I assumed they knew how to do a fiberglass roof).
MY point is that you should learn all you can about the details of the roof design, and it's construction, and its condition,.....PRIOR to purchase. When fulltiming, rain-water intrusion and the repairs resulting, can be a MAJOR event.
