anyone use an adventurer folding bicycle?

Thanks Dr Quick, Did you get the bags at CW also? Are you using the 6 speed or single speed?

WE got a pair of them last year and really like them. Like you said, not for serious riding, but they are a lot of fun. Have people ask us about them sometimes. I got the bags with then, and keep them in the back seat of our crew cab. I fold the bottom seat up and they fit fine. I did come up with a way to secure the bag to the seat back headrest, so if I stop fast the bikes stay put. We like them in the truck, as it keeps them out of the weather. Also if we are off exploring somewhere, and there is a friendly bike trail, we can make use of the bikes. I found out that to get them in the bag, I use a small bungee chord to secure the folded left peddle to the back of the bike, and use a strap to hold the bike in the folded position. Makes them easier to handle that way.
Last summer we had them when we went to Yosemite. When we visited the main area in the valley, instead of taking the shuttle or trying to drive the truck, we toured the area on bikes. I think we racked up over 7 miles touring the area.:)

We actually got the CW 6 speed bikes used on Craig's list, and they came with the CW bags. I did find out one thing about the bags. The bikes are easier to carry if you open the zipper and grab the frame behind the seat. If you use the bag handle, it is so high up by the time the bikes clear the ground, and hard on your arms as you have to hold them in a bent up position. Also bike come with fenders, so if you go through a puddle, you do not get wet;)
