Anyone using "Sniff and Stop" as a mouse preventative?

My wife was told that this is a great product for helping to keep mice out during the off-season. Anyone have any positive or negative comments/experiences? And please, no lectures on cleaning the...

Problem is this device needs to be plugged into 120 vac shore power to work so for those of us storing our trailers where no power is available it's not a viable solution.
