Archeology of a campground
The post about the Found Wedding Ring made me wonder about what an archeological dig of a campground 200 years from now would find. Jewelry, yes but what about other items?

The drunk, smoking fisherman really know how to foul their own nest. - Interesting topic. I have a seasonal job at a KOA located on part of a Civil War battlefield. Some of the maintenance staff still occasionally find bullets and other artifacts. Seems improbable since the campground has been there for probably 50 years or more, but it does happen.

String. Lots and lots of string. - Ammo. We camp at USFS/BLM campgrounds and usually find shall casings all over, in addition to broken glass and beer cans.
- Bits of copper pipe in the fire pit - the last 3 spots we camped in had that!
Guess it makes the flames colorful. - twist ties
