Are aftermarket tachometers reliable?
I want to install a tachometer on my 91 Class C with an EFI Ford 460 power plant. Are they at all accurate and reliable?

Electronic tacometers just measure pules. Pretty simple device. You should be able to check calibration with a signal generator.
