Yes CB is still being used today. Every time I hit a traffic back up I can pretty much find out why and where with my CB in a matter of minutes. Plus if you monitor it you may get enough of a warning to get off an exit or two before and avoid the delay.

I don't have to call anyone...I just call up my navigation app and select "traffic" from the option screen! Not only does it tell me where things are backed up, it tells me how long the backup is, how bad it is, and can route me around it! (Or if I'm driving, Liz does it with her phone.)
