This is true especially after 2008 when the RV industry went cheap, and I mean cheap in order for companies to survive. They were not really worried about warranty and recall issues, because of the focus on just surviving.
Now that the economy has finally hit bottom, and we have our "new normals", I'm hoping we see quality improve in general. This can be done. Just look at European RVs which are priced almost the same as US rigs, except that their company forums are not inundated by leak complaints or complaints that the wires fried after someone tried to use a 1500 watt heater.
