Are RV forums dying?

And it is the Barney Fifes of these forums who feel their way is the only way to post on a forum that have helped run off many of the members. (and they know who they are as well) And to a bunch of others who have posted, since when are forums only supposed to be used for questions and answers? I thought the meaning of a forum is a place of discussion.
