I read about someone who had a problem when they called it a "truck conversion" when making reservations. They started calling it something else on the phone, and had pics to send the campground if there were any issues.
Only thing I've been asked was whether I had any canvas on mine - they didn't allow pop-ups, fold-down bunks, external tent rooms, etc. Which was funny, because when I got there I saw several run-down fifth-wheels, with weathered/warping plywood for skirting, duct tape holding things together, etc. But they didn't break the "no truck camper and no canvas" rule so apparently they were good. It was still a nice campground in a great area...I just thought the rule was funny.
