are you kidding me

a week ago we pulled into a campground, we have a tow dolly, got all set up and asked where should I put the dolly,
I was told just put in back by the storage shed, ok, we unhooked and pushed it back and put the lock on it,
so today I happen to walk by where it was parked, and it was gone,??
hello, So walking around the park looking for it before I called the police. Another camper came by and said, do you have a tow dolly, well yeah, he said he wanted to park there and so he just moved it.
So let me get this straight, you moved someone else equipment because you wanted the spot and didn't ask, twenty years ago the fight would have started, but now I just said next time ask> oh me

    Do you have any idea how much a dolly costs? From what I've seen they're not cheap. If I were told by management to specifically put it in a certain location, and it ended up missing (even temporarily) or relocated by some stranger,I'd be a little put out as well.

    You never know what their intentions were. I'd bet my next paycheck that if it came up missing by theft, the guy who moved it so he had a better parking spot wouldn't have said a word.

    People don't have the right to touch something that doesn't belong to them. Simple manners that some learn early in life.

    Agree 1000%. Like my Dad used to say, "touch my stuff without asking and draw back a stub"........

    I would be annoyed too. Don't mess with my stuff. It's mine. And I don't care who in here tells me to lighten up and not sweat the small stuff and relax and enjoy life and all that. My stuff is my stuff..

    Having said that. I think I'll go to lunch.

    ok, folks, the tow dolly had a lock put on the ball , but no cable on the wheels, which I will in the future, where I was told to put it is where the person wanted to park his truck as it was closer to his 5th wheel, and he did not want to walk very far. , I didn't spend four years in the nam to worrying about the small stuff in life, but it was a little annoying.

    Like common sense, common courtesy is not all that common anymore. Moving someone else's stuff without their permission may be "small potatoes" to most people, and no harm was done other than some anxiety on the part of the owner, but not very smart. If he asked you AFTER he moved it, why could he not have asked you BEFORE he moved it. Unless he owns the campground he overstepped his bounds in my opinion. Even the owner should give you a heads up before moving your stuff.
