Atlanta Motor Speedway Family Camping

My husband and I both worked at AMS full time, but have since left. My husband said that when we worked there,(he was in charge of maintance for the stands, suites and campgrounds) there was a pumper truck and a water truck. I don't know if they still have it. He said the best way to find out is to call the ticket office.Four years ago they gave out all that info when you got there. Have a great time.

We are a NASCAR family and realize that it is a loose representation of "family camping". We expect loud and rowdy which is ok but we will not have a generator exhausting at or under our TT. With that said, I'm sure we will have one on both sides pointed our way.

Yep, We had the CO detector go off at Daytona when the guy next to us, put is junky construction genset next to our coach with the exhaust flowing under ( and into) the coach.

Couldn't find anything on the AMS website about that stuff. They suggest gen flow pipes but obviously not mandatory. We will have one.

The problem I had was that people tend to move their generators as far away from their own campers and point the exhaust wherever. A guy had his generator running almost under my bedroom window I had a talk with him and he moved it. Unlike the other responders...I have camped there. I know they had a pumping service, I don't remeber the price though. I can't say about fresh water fill as I didn't need it...45 gallons lasted all weeken for us.

Happened to be looking at the Dover Downs site yesterday. Everything you need to know plus alot more is on theirs. No doubt AMS is the same.
