Attempted Break In
This morning we had someone try to break in. It was only a crime of opportunity, but it was the first time I've experienced this in the past approximately 600 nights traveling and sleeping in the RV....

Pitchfork or machete sounds appropriate. Or since you had time to setup, a Muzzy broadhead at 400fps would stop em.
if the local police decide it's not worth their time to investigate...especially with photos of the truck and offender...then that's on them. not reporting the attempted burglary to motor vehicle because of perceived police indifference is no excuse.
