Auto Level

Question

My friend has a 5th wheel with the auto level feature.  It is not level.  I put a 6' level on it and the curb side is high.  Is the side to side feature adjustable?  How does the control panel determine what is level and if the unit was unlevel when it was installed would it be continue to be un-level?
