An auto slider will always be used, as it auto slides and that is the beauty of it. Is it always needed? Well no, but that one time it is needed it is a god send. Also you can do a few thousand dollars with of damage in a split second when that fiver hits the back of the cab.
With my SuperGlide and my previous Highjacker I can go 90 deg and past with no problems.
