Auxiliary diesel tank
Has anyone heard of someone being cited or fined by a state inspector or EPA for using a gravity fed diesel tank in their truck bed? I would like to use one. I seem to be reading that it is now agains...

The bottom line is "convenience", the ability to refuel when you want to, not when you have to. Price savings is just an added luxury, not to mention it makes the truck ride better when the tank is full.
