Hang 2-1 gallon water jugs on the ends of the arm. It stops the flapping. We use the awning almost every where. In Florida, we added a screen staked down to the ground.
So little use - I bet it's mildewy. Time to break out the Tilex. Spray it down, roll it up, let it sit for 20 minutes, open back up and rinse it off.
