AZ sales tax - consignment purchase
I am researching my first RV purchase. AZ does not charge sales tax on private party vehicle transactions... in state or out of state. An in state consignment shop is required to charge sales...

Our last 5r purchase was a Colorado consignment.
When the coach was brought in on consignment, the old owners were required to transfer the title to the dealer, which in essence, made it a dealer purchase, and we had to pay Az tax when we registered it.
That is our only consignment purchase. Your mileage may vary :)
