Back up batteries for boon docking

Skip the solar. Buy the generator. You are here for an adventure not to pick up problems. Besides being a very expensive installation, one that needs to be done by a person that really knows what they are doing. If you have a problem with solar on the road, it will be fix it yourself. Solar is an industry in its infancy and qualified technicians are few are far between. Most solar is done by engineering type geeks and requires a level of knowledge that the average guy has no interest in immersing himself in just for the purposes you are interested in.
No need to reinvent the wheel here.
Although some of the safety police will******in their depends at the mention of this you can run the generator on the road. A fixed installation one, just start and go. A stand alone can be strapped in the rear of the truck and the power cable strung along the trailer.
