I've been dealing for bad back since I was 16. Mostly chiropractor (seems to work well doe me). I only have 3 herniated discs. Mainly I dealt with the pin with ibuprofen.
Now I'm 68, and in May I was diagnosed with late advanced stage of cirrhosis of the liver. Main culprit as best as we can figure, I was probably combination of the ibuprofen and condroitin/glaucosamine.
Be very careful about long term drug use. Get on ultrasound and/or CT on mid-section to check liver condition, before deciding course of action.
