So, my wife and I went to a VERY POPULAR RV dealer in the Tampa, Florida area...... We had check in hand to purchase a new class A motorhome and we looked and looked, went into several, as they were unlocked. Any way we must have been there a good hour or 2 and I must say NOT ONE SALESMAN came up to us. We did however get a water from one of the 'runners' in golf carts. I guess they are SO POPULAR, and cater to the big dollar buyers-that they do not want my little $$. Oh well....not my problem, but it is definitely a MANAGEMENT ISSUE for sure. I will definitely be taking my business/purchase elsewhere for darned sure. Just and FYI at some of these 'GREAT....BIGGEST....(and don't give a darn) dealers out there...............
Sounds like you got great service to me. This is the type of service I prefer. I can't stand looking at cars/trucks or RVs and have an annoying salesman who knows little to nothing about the RV try to BS me. When I look at a car/truck or RV, I already know as much as I can glean off the internet about it and usually I know more about the unit then they do.
All I want a salesman for is to get the paper work started. When we bought our Motorhome we did the same thing. We walked on the lot without going into the office and looked at the 6 or so different Greyhawk & Greyhawk Sport models. When we made our decision we went in to the salesman and told him we were ready to buy.
