BAL hidden spare tire holder

Today I saw a BAL hidden spare tire holder on a Heartland Landmark 5th wheel. As I was down on the ground looking at it I realized that there may be room for 2 spares under there. I just wonder if it is strong enough to support 2, 16" tires. With all the posts about tire blowouts I am thinking I should carry 2 spares......

    Gee...where do you stop? I have travelled thousands of miles in the last 8 years and have never needed my spare. Carry one....that'll be good to get you to the next major center to get something else. If that blows, just phone CAA/AMA
