Bathroom Vent Fan

Anyone ever seen a vent fan with just a on/off switch to operate?
I mean turn on the switch and the lid opens and fan turns on, turn off fans stops and lid closes.
I have a fantastic fan it the kitchen but I don't want a t-stat for the bathroom. I guess I could buy a fantastic fan with t-stat and just use a switch but why pay for something I'm not going to use.

  • Why not just put a Max-Air cover over a standard fan and leave the vent open.

My bathroom fan has an on/off switch for the fan. It doesn't open or close the vent, just runs the fan. If you don't open the vent manually, it just blows air up into the vent then right back down on you like a ceiling fan.
  • My coach has the Fantastic fan with thermostat in the front/main area of the coach and just a Fantastic Fan without all the bells and whistles in the bathroom. I think the only thing you'll have a tough time finding is one that lifts the lid and turns on the fan with one switch. My bathroom Fantastic Fan has an added on external cover so it's always open, so we just turn it on with the three speed knob when needed.
