Doesn't surprise me one bit. I understand the country needs to be protected from terrorist, but with the creation of Homeland Security & too many cops getting away with violating people's rights because they're used to doing it and getting away with it hiding behind "qualified immunity" granted by the courts, we're going to continue seeing more and more of this **** from ignorant cops power tripping.
The Thin Blue Line is really the thick blue wall. The mentality of the police is that there is them, and then there are the criminals and it's only a matter of time until you or I step out of line and become one of the criminals. I know there really are good cops out there, but it's a shame that the good cops won't step up and take the bad cops to task for fear of retaliation from the bad cops. So it winds up making them just as bad as the rest of the bad cops for doing nothing and going along.
I think hell's going to freeze over before she ever gets her apology.
