Looking to do more beach camping in the coming years. We’ve got a 35 gallon thetford tote to dump gray at a typical campground without a sewer but what are my options for dumping gray while on the beach?
Unfortunately your post doesn't make it clear as to what you mean by "beach camping" - i.e. whether that beach is within an organized campground with it's own dump station facilities or whether you're talking about boondocking on a public beach that has nothing to do with any campground. Obviously in the first case you'd deal with your waste tanks the same way you would if on a campsite - off load into your tote tank that you'd then drag to the campground dump station for emptying & flushing. If you're boondocking on a public beach with no nearby facilities you'd still off load into your tote tank but then the problem would be towing it along public roads to get to a dump facility. In this case I'd use a
FloJet Waste Macerator to macerate & off load the contents of the waste tank(s) to the tote tank sitting in the back of the truck so you can then drive to a dump station regardless of where it may be located.
