Glad you found your problem.
There is a lot of talk about tires and blowouts on here. But little about people checking their wheel bearings when on the road. I'm guilty as most I guess.
I've wanted to take my wheel simulators off and check bearings more frequently. Just the thought of taking them off and I get dirty looks from my other half.
When on road I do check tire temps, I wonder how much temp(heat) would transfer to tire indicating a tire or bearing problem? Having access without hub caps and temp gun would be easier to pin point problem of... is it the tire or bearing causing the high temps?
